We seek competent professionals for the leading multinational Consumer Goods industry as Assistant Manager – Modern Trade Sales

Location: Dhaka

Salary: 50-70K

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for modern trade channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Modern Trade Partners (Superstores, Chain Outlets, Hypermarkets and etc.)
• Ensure product visibility through effective merchandising, availability, and promotional execution across modern trade outlets.
• Negotiate and execute new product enlisting, annual visibility agreements, promotional plans, and trade marketing initiatives.
• Monitor Sales performance, analyze market trends and prepare reports for decision-
• Drive volume growth and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales
• Maintain outlet category wise/brand wise product assortment in order to achieve secondary sales target.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Logistics, Sales Admin & Finance) to maintain smooth operations and sales fulfillment.
• Conduct regular store visits, audits, and field research to improve sales execution and customer experience.
• Conduct market surveys to identify competitors' market reach, price proposition, and business insight.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a dynamic team of Key Account Executives to ensure optimal performance and adherence to modern trade strategies.

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administrator or Marketing or relevant field

 Experience

• 3-5 Years in Modern Trade Partners (Superstores, Chain Outlets, Hypermarkets and etc.)

 

Required Skills:

• Technical Skills: Strong Negotiation, Territory management, distributor management, competitive analysis, selling/negotiation skills, and trade merchandising.
• Behavioral Traits: Problem Solving Ability Proactive initiative-taker, strong leadership and teamwork capabilities, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
