Job Context

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing technical presentations and document
• Complete study of tender (technical and commercial) and preparation for bidding document
• Preparing BOQ of Material and Machinery/Equipment
• Calculating project cost to finalize the bidding price of the tender
• Attend weekly/monthly meeting with inter department/higher management of the company
• Preparing supporting drawing/calculation for tender bidding purpose whenever required
• Preparing technical and financial offer and submit the same to buyer/client
• Copresence with Ship’s/Buyer’s representative
• Preparing invoice as per contract with Ship’s owner
• To perform any other activities assigned by the reporting supervisor

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc. in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering/B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from BUET/DUET/CUET/RUET/KUET

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Only males are allowed to apply
• At least 5-year(s) in shipbuilding/Similar type of project
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
• Business Development, Ship building, steel structure fabrication industry
• Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Good command on office applications (Microsoft office, Auto-CAD 2D)
• Good command in both written and spoken English.
• Sufficient knowledge on market price of relevant product is essential
