Job Context

 
Job Location : Head Office.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, prevent and treatment of animal health problems, and vaccinates against diseases & illness.
• Conduct tests and observations to diagnose and find out proper health problems and present condition for taking corrective action in time through medication, vaccination and other treatments as necessary.
• Prescribe necessary medications through regular checking and observation.
• Administer vaccines to prevent common diseases.
• Preform operations and provide therapy or other treatments to heal animal injury.
• Perform spay and neuter surgeries.
• Communicate with animal owners to answer questions and educate them on situations and treatment plans.
• Head out into the field to inspect and treat livestock and their living conditions when required.
• Conduct research and development to advance the veterinary medicine field.
• Collaborate with veterinary assistant and other staff to provide top-notch care to livestock's health and well-being.
• Knowledge of all veterinary best practices, and a desire to advance the field.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to build rapport and adequately communicate with patients and staff.
• Problem-solving capabilities with a willingness to tackle unique challenges.
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to empathize with families.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize and thrive in an oftentimes fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Educational Requirements

• DVM from any reputed University.

Experience Requirements

• At least 2 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 45 years
• Only males are allowed to apply
• The applicants should have experience in the following area (s): Dairy, Dairy Medicine, Poultry, Poultry Medicine and Fish Medicine.
• Working Experience in similar post will be added advantage.
• Good Communications Skills both in Bengali and English.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure.
• Computer Skill in MS-Office & Internet based Application.
