We seek competent professionals for a RMG company as Executive (Merchandising)
Job Title: Executive - Merchandising
Department: Marketing & Merchandising
Direct Reports to: Sr. Merchandiser, Asst. Manager/Deputy Manager, Manager, General Manager–Merchandising.
Correlation with: GM-AHC, GM-Finance & Accounts, GM-Production, Commercial Department, IE Department.
External Contacts/Interaction: Factory, Buyers, Suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
- Assist in the development of product designs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company standards.
Costing:
- Costing from CAD: Prepare costing sheets based on CAD patterns and fabric consumption. Accurately calculate the material requirements and production costs.
- Costing Analysis: Collaborate with the design and production teams to evaluate fabric, trims, and other raw materials for cost-effective options without compromising on quality.
Fabric Booking & Consumption:
- Fabric Booking: Manage the booking of fabrics based on design and production requirements, ensuring the correct quantities are reserved with suppliers.
- Booking Consumption from CAD: Ensure that fabric consumption is accurately calculated based on the CAD patterns and production needs.
- Monitor Consumption: Continuously monitor and track fabric usage during the production process to avoid wastage and ensure efficient use of materials.
Sales Contract Preparation:
- Prepare Sales Contract: Draft and review sales contracts with clients, ensuring that all terms (including costs, timelines, and quantities) are clearly outlined and agreed upon.
- Contract Coordination: Work closely with the sales team to confirm product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
Time and Action (TNA) Sets:
- Create TNA Sets: Develop detailed Time and Action (TNA) sets for each order, outlining key milestones, production timelines, and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor TNA Progress: Regularly track the TNA to ensure that all deadlines are met and adjust timelines as needed to address any delays or issues.
Follow-Up:
- Follow up & Coordination with Buyer Supplier, Production, Planning, LAB, Quality, and Commercial Department.
Feed Confirmation:
- Confirm Feed: Ensure that all feed information (materials, production timelines, and design updates) is confirmed with suppliers and production teams.
- Coordination: Ensure that the planning department is informed of all feed-related matters and also informed feed in-house updated.
Plan Review & Coordination:
- Review Production Plan: Collaborate with production teams to review and adjust production plans, ensuring they align with order volumes and deadlines.
- Capacity Planning: Ensure that production capacity is allocated appropriately and that there are no bottlenecks in the production flow.
Size Set / Pre-Production (PP) Meeting Follow-Up:
- Size Set Follow-Up: Ensure that the size sets are completed and reviewed with the design and production teams before bulk production begins.
- Pre-Production (PP) Meeting: Organize and attend pre-production meetings to discuss fabric, size sets, and production schedules. Address any issues or concerns raised during the meeting.
Cutting Approval:
- Approve Cutting: Ensure that the fabric cutting process is approved based on the production pattern, quality standards, and size set.
- Quality Control: Verify that the cut fabric meets design and quality specifications before production begins.
Bulk Production Follow-Up:
- Monitor Bulk Production: Oversee bulk production, ensuring that it proceeds as scheduled and meets quality standards.
- Production Support: Resolve any issues or delays during the bulk production process, working with the production and quality control teams.
Shipment Coordination:
- Shipment Preparation: Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure that the finished goods are prepared and shipped according to the agreed delivery schedule.
- Monitor Shipments: Track shipments and ensure that products are shipped on time and reach the destination as per customer specifications.
Note: Merchandiser must consult and take consent from immediate senior to do above mentioned job.
