Jobs Responsibilities:

 

• Be the frost fighter extraordinaire! Oversee all aspects of our ice cream cooler and freezer equipment, from budgeting and procurement to preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan. Ensure our customers always get a perfectly chilled scoop!
• Lead a team of technicians and contractors, keeping them focused on maintaining optimal temperatures in our freezers and coolers.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems before they cause a meltdown (pun intended). Ensure all equipment adheres to safety regulations – food safety is paramount!
• Stay up to date on the latest cooling technologies for ice cream storage.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure equipment meets their needs for proper temperature control.
• Maintain detailed records of all cooler and freezer maintenance and repairs.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure efficient repairs and maintain optimal temperatures.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency and energy consumption to keep things cool and cost-effective.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (preferred).

.Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environment managing refrigeration equipment.

 Additional Requirement

• Experience working with commercial freezers and coolers a plus.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices for refrigeration systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
