Security Manager/ In-Charge- RMG

 

Job Title: Security Manager / In-Charge (RMG Industry)

Location: Dhaka & Tongi (Corporate Office, Factory/Industrial Area)

Salary Range (Monthly): BDT 40,000 – 60,000/-

  

Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security strategies and operations for the factory unit(s) to safeguard personnel, assets (including finished goods and raw materials), property, and information. Ensure a safe, compliant, and disciplined working environment in line with company and buyer standards

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Security Operations Management: Supervise the daily operations of the security department, including all security personnel (guards and officers), for both internal and external activities.
• Risk Mitigation & Investigation: Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and inspections. Investigate all security breaches, incidents, theft, and violations, reporting findings to management and implementing corrective actions.
• Access & Asset Control: Implement and monitor robust access control systems for personnel, vehicles, and materials (in/out) at all gates and entry points to prevent unauthorized entry and material loss.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage the security team, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, duty rosters, and high standards of discipline.
• Compliance & Emergency Response: Ensure all security protocols comply with local laws (Bangladesh Labour Law) and international buyer Codes of Conduct (COC). Develop and coordinate emergency response plans for fire, medical issues, and civil unrest.
• Technology & Surveillance: Oversee the proper functioning and maintenance of all security equipment, including CCTV, alarm systems, and fire safety systems.
• Coordination: Maintain effective liaison with local law enforcement, Industrial Police, fire services, and other external stakeholders

Education

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Security Management is a plus.

 

 Experience

• Proven experience (5-7 years) in security management, preferably in the RMG/Textile or industrial sector.
• Background: Candidates with a background in the Armed Forces or relevant disciplined services are highly preferred.

 

Additional Skills

• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of physical security systems, access control, and incident reporting.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
