Autobahn Solutions Ltd. is hiring a skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to join our electrical and diagnostics team. You will perform high-quality electrical fault diagnosis and repair on premium European and Japanese vehicles, working closely with the Electric Foreman. We handle complex electrical jobs on BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Nissan, and other modern vehicles. This role is ideal for a technically strong auto electrician who wants to grow their skills in a premium, diagnostic-focused workshop environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on premium European and Japanese vehicles as directed by the Electric Foreman
- Perform full-system fault code scans using OBD and diagnostic tools; read and interpret fault codes and live data accurately
- Trace and repair wiring harness faults — open circuits, short circuits, damaged connectors, and corroded wiring
- Diagnose and repair battery, alternator, and starter motor faults
- Repair and replace electrical components — sensors, relays, fuses, switches, control units, and modules
- Diagnose and repair ABS, airbag/SRS, and body electrical system faults
- Carry out auto AC electrical diagnosis — compressor, climate control system, pressure sensors, and blower motor
- Perform car key programming, TPMS reset, and basic module initialization under the supervision of the Electric Foreman
- Carry out ECU and module replacement and initialization where required (with guidance)
- Diagnose and repair lighting system faults — headlights, DRL, interior lighting, and adaptive lighting systems
- Complete all assigned jobs on time, with clean and correct workmanship, and ensure no fault recurs after handover
- Fill in job cards accurately with fault description, work done, and parts used
- Maintain clean and organized workstation; handle diagnostic and electrical tools with care
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Automotive electrical systems — charging system, starting system, lighting, body electronics
- Fault code reading and live data analysis using OBD tools and multi-brand diagnostic equipment
- Wiring fault tracing — using wiring diagrams, multimeter, and test lights
- Battery testing, alternator output testing, and parasitic drain diagnosis
- ABS/ESP sensor and module diagnosis and replacement
- Airbag/SRS sensor and module fault diagnosis (safe handling procedures required)
- Auto AC electrical system — compressor, pressure sensors, climate control module
- Car lighting systems — LED, Xenon/HID, adaptive headlights
- Central locking, power windows, and comfort system electrical repair
- Basic ECU and control module replacement and coding (with guidance)
- Key programming and TPMS reset (basic level)
- Hybrid system basic electrical safety and 12V auxiliary system repair
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on automotive electrical experience
- Experience working on premium European vehicles — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen is required
- Experience with Toyota, Honda, Lexus, or Nissan electrical systems is an advantage
- Prior experience using OBD diagnostic tools and reading fault codes in a professional workshop
TOOLS / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
- Multi-brand OBD diagnostic scanner (Autel, Launch, iCarsoft, or similar)
- Digital multimeter
- Circuit tester / test light
- Battery load tester and battery charger
- Wiring diagram software or printed wiring diagrams
- Key programmer (basic level)
- TPMS reset tool
- AC manifold gauge set
- Soldering kit and electrical terminal crimping tools
- Standard automotive hand tools
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical training. Candidates with strong practical experience but without a formal diploma will be considered based on a skills test.

- Candidates with experience from a premium workshop or authorized dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or Audi electrical systems
- Systematic fault tracing approach — reads wiring diagrams, uses correct tools, does not replace parts without confirming the fault

- Eager to learn new diagnostic skills and vehicle systems
