    Jobs Responsibilities:

    Description of the position:

    As a Senior HR and Admin Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing various human resources and administrative functions within the organization. You will be responsible for implementing HR policies, streamlining administrative processes, and fostering a positive work environment. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

     

    Hierarchical and organizational links:

    Reports to:         Manager – HR & Admin

    Direct line manager of:  TBD

    Technical referent:          HODs, Executive Directors and all Managers

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    HR Strategy and Planning:

    • Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

     

    Talent Acquisition:

    • Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.

     

    Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and addressing employee concerns.
    • Manage disciplinary issues and employee grievances in accordance with company policies.

     

    Performance Management:

    • Implement and oversee performance appraisal processes.
    • Work with managers to develop and monitor employee performance improvement plans.

     

    Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
    • Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics for employees and managers.

    Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
    • Handle inquiries and provide guidance on benefits and compensation matters.

     

    Administrative Functions:

    • Oversee day-to-day office administration, including facility management and vendor relationships.
    • Manage records, files, and documentation in compliance with company policies.

     

    Compliance and Policy Implementation:

    • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
    • Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures consistently across the organization.

     

    Confidentiality:

    • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

     

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Perform any other tasks assigned on a need basis, beyond routine responsibilities.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

    Experience

    • Proven experience (3-5 years) in HR and administration roles, with a focus on leadership and strategic planning.

    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to work in an intercultural environment.
    • Responsive, motivated, great communicator.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Knowledge of IT business process is an added value.
