Operating tanks that grind & mix various materials and Utilize pumps, filters & scales throughout the blending process.
Verifying the age and weight of raw materials before adding them.
Completing labels and blend information sheets accurately.
Taking samples to QC for approval and ensuring the safe transport & storage of materials.
Improving daily functions which require GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification by creating and implementing new processes and procedures.
Complying with FDA (Food & Drug Administration) and GMP guidelines to ensure safety, quality and purity of product characteristics throughout the manufacturing processes.
Analyzing failed components to determine reasons for imperfections and record results for review in coordination with the QA Department.
Keeping written records of cleaning, blending, and production downtime for equipment for HACCP documentation.
Making sure all batch products are in spec and meet all company and FDA specifications before filling operations start.
Helping to reduce company costs by eliminating reprocessing procedures.
Calibrating scales that assign for production.
