We seek competent professionals for the leading multinational Consumer Goods industry as Key Account Manager Sales

Location: Dhaka

Salary: 100K to 110K

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Client & Relationship Management: Develop productive, long-term strategic relationships with new and existing key accounts.
• Sales & Forecasting: Meet monthly sales value/volume targets and prepare accurate future volume forecasts.
• Distributor & Territory Strategy: Oversee field infrastructure (beat/route planning), manage distributor performance, and optimize numeric/weighted distribution across regions.
• Trade Marketing & Merchandising: Implement in-store visibility and localized marketing plans to increase the "share of shelf" and maximize impulse-buying impact.
• Financial Risk Management: Ensure optimal market credit exposure and secure bank guarantees from distributors to minimize overall organizational risk.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive moves, keep updated on shifting shopper profiles, and feed market insights back to the Brand and Trade Marketing teams.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Sales Performance: Achievement of monthly value and volume targets.
• Distributor Management: Regular evaluation of distributor operational performance and financial stability.
• In-Store Execution: Successful placement, assortment, and merchandising alignment at the point of purchase.
• Distribution Reach: Ensuring complete product availability across the designated outlet base.

Education:

• BBA or a relevant Bachelor’s Degree.

 Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of functional sales experience within the FMCG sector, with at least 5 years of overall professional experience.

Required Skills:

• Technical Skills: Key Account Management, Territory management, distributor management, competitive analysis, selling/negotiation skills, and trade merchandising.
• Behavioral Traits: Proactive initiative-taker, strong leadership and teamwork capabilities, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
