We seek competent professionals for the leading freight forward industry as Sr. Executive/ Asst. Manager – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FREIGHT FORWARDING (SALES)

Report To: Head of Sales
No Of Vacancy: 6 ( Dhaka 4 Chattagram 2) 

Location: Dhaka & Ctg

Salary: 30-50K

 

Key Responsibilities: Identify, drive and execute Sales/ business development for a renowned Global Vertical Logistics Company. The incumbent is accountable for working across functional organizational lines and geographies in the expansion of targeted and existing customers to achieve/increase target revenue/growth over the long run.

• Develop/focus trade lanes based on market potential, develop new overseas partner agent.
• Visit and follow up with clients for both export & import business and make at least 2-3 Sales calls per day on average.
• Joint sales call with supervisor, Salespersons, management, and respective operational team for VIP/MNC client when it required. Establish strong relationship with clients/agents (Both Local & Overseas)
• Compile and send weekly sales report (including call reports+ business gain/loss / revenue) from individual salespersons and report them to immediate supervisor
• Prepare weekly Pre-plan for projected target customer visit plan for self and for the sales team with discussion with respective members.
• Ensure proper follow-up and minimize service failure by engaging with key operational team and maintain the desired service level and error free service.
• Prepare competitive market analysis
• Share history of the lost business opportunity, enquiry received from the customer and reasons behind losing the opportunity. Perform all assigned duties maintaining high ethical standards with a minimal amount of supervision from the Supervisor.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Sales/Marketing

 Experience

• Minimum 4-6 years of work experience in Freight Forwarding company

Required Skills:

• International Ocean/Air Export & Import Sales experience
• Maintaining external and internal customer relationships
• Good communication skills, especially when delivering information to customers and team members.
