Job Context

Express Search Talent Solutions (ESTS) is a private Recruitment Solution provider in Bangladesh. On behalf of our client, a renowned Ready-Made Garment (RMG) industry leader with a significant presence, we seek a visionary and highly experienced Technical Head to lead all technical facets of their apparel manufacturing operations.

Location: Tongi, Gazipur / Dhaka
Team: Technical & Engineering Operations
Report To: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Director
Salary: BDT 100,000–120,000 (Negotiable)

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and oversee comprehensive technical strategies for all RMG manufacturing facilities.
• Lead the technical teams across pattern making, industrial engineering, sewing, and machinery maintenance.
• Ensure optimal machinery performance, lead automation initiatives, and manage technical resources.
• Oversee the implementation of advanced quality systems and standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Drive efficiency improvements and waste reduction through strategic technical leadership and innovation.
• Implement and manage modern CAD/CAM systems and state-of-the-art sewing and finishing technologies.
• Maintain relationships with international technology suppliers and engineering consultants.
• Mentor and develop technical staff to build a world-class engineering team.

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a distinct advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive technical leadership experience, specifically within a large-scale RMG manufacturing environment.

 

Required Skills

• Proven track record as a Technical Head, Production Manager (Tech), or comparable senior role in the RMG sector.
• Expert-level knowledge of RMG production technologies, machinery (sewing, cutting, finishing), and automation.
• Deep understanding of pattern making, garment construction, textile science, and global quality standards (e.g., AQL).
• Strong command of Industrial Engineering (IE) principles, lean manufacturing, and productivity enhancement.
• Experience with modern CAD/CAM systems and integrated production planning software.
• Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
