Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering any Reputed university .
- Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering Master of Commerce (M.Com)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master of Commerce (M.Com) / (MBA) from any recognized University.
- CA-CC, ACA, ACCA, ACMA will be given preference.
Experience
- At least 8-10 year(s) Experience as MANAGER (AUDIT & COST CONTROL) of the Engineering Department of any renowned & reputed Real Estate Developer Company.
Additional Requirements
- Proven track record of leading and managing internal audit function in real estate company.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards and practices.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience in data analytics and continuous auditing techniques.
- Should have excellent knowledge on computer MS office packages

LANCO DEVELOPMENTS LTD.. is a reputed Real Estate Developer Company located in Banani, Dhaka, is looking for dynamic, honest and potential candidates for the position of ASST.MANAGER (AUDIT & COST CONTROL)
- Check and verify bills, vouchers, and accounting records to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Verify pre and post comparative statement (CS) analysis.
- Verify projects inventory management through physical stock checks, raw material consumption, and finished items.
- To collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
- Conduct special investigations as needed.
- Audit procurement processes, including purchase rate analysis, quotation comparison, purchase verification and market survey.
- Prepare and submit detailed audit reports that highlight findings, risks, control gaps, and recommendations to management.
- Review the internal control system’s efficiency, identify weaknesses, and suggest corrective actions.
- Analyze project and engineering department budgets and monitor variances, and evaluate the budget to ensure cost efficiency.
- Perform market verification, local procurement price checks, and assess cost-saving opportunities.
- Verification of inventory transfers between different projects.
- Periodic review of advances and security deposits of parties.
- Assist in fraud prevention, and carry out any other tasks assigned by management
