• RAFIQUE SEEDS is the leading seeds company in Bangladesh. We are involved in the import & supply of all kinds of seeds, specializing in F1 hybrid vegetable seeds. We have a wide & strong sales network in all over the country. Mention that we are proud as a member of BSA (Bangladesh Seeds Association) and APSA (The Asia and Pacific Seed Association).

• Head office: Thakurgaon
• R & D Station: Prannagor, Birgonj, Dinajpur.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up research objectives which are consistence to consumer demand & organizational benefits.
• Prepare yearly research action plan according to research objectives & yearly budget.
• Collect and screen germplasms from different sources based on crop season.
• Prepare field lay-out, follow plan and design of selfing, sibbing, test crossing etc.
• Conduct seasonal and annual trial, data record and data analysis based on action plan.
• Develop and select new inbred/parent lines and hybrids.
• Maintain inbred/parent lines.
• Generate seasonal, quarterly and annual field research report.
• Taking initiative to build up liaison the seed production & marketing for collection market demand of the client as well as collection of new technology from different research institutes.

Educational Requirements

• MSc in Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Seed Technology from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements

• 4 to 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 38 years
• At least 4-5 year(s) working experience from any reputed organizations in vegetable seed breeding.
• Experience in R&D & Production
• Have an idea about vegetable seed sectors market trend
• Excellent communication, presentation & reporting skill
