Job Context

A senior member of the pre-sales team, a "Pre-Sales Manager" who technically represents, designs, and presents the Product Portfolio of solutions and services to Customers, in a Pre-Sales capacity. Ownership and responsibility for the Pre -Sales engagement process with the Client, supporting Sales through the Sales Cycle to the decision point, and handing over into the delivery process for business wins.



Jobs Responsibilities

• Technical Pre-Sales design of Server, Storage, Virtualization and Cloud solutions with a high level of accuracy. This includes defining solution hardware, licenses, professional services budgets. Lead bids, organizing activity to ensure timely bid submission to meet agreed deadlines.
• Presales activities on VMware products will be highly preferable.
• Provide 'technical authority' for Organization's proposals. Submit content, costs, and bills of materials and validate content for high level designs for peer review. Peer review designs from other peers and colleagues with critical/positive appraisal.
• Prepare and deliver effective presentations to customers to highlight solution detail and business benefit and help win/close deals.
• Ensure continuity for the customer by providing an effective handover to the delivery teams or scope, commercials etc. for business wins.
• Siting as an ambassador for the company, to raise profile, branding and credibility within the market, delivering excellence to delight our customers.
• R&D/Product Development - working alongside Organization's Sr. Management, other consultants and post-sales engineers, collaborate to develop new products/improve service offerings to customers.
• Keep up to date with developments in Networking, Security and associated technologies and the customer and supplier market places.
• Contribute significantly to the development of Company goals, growth and profitability targets by being an active member of the team and culture.
• Build strong relationships with vendor commercial and technical contacts.

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 30 years
• Renowned vendor certifications: CCNA, RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VCP (VMware) will give an advantage. Certifications related to VMware Technology is highly preferable. High-level Support and Implementation experience of (for both current and emerging technologies). Server and Storage Hardware, Operating Systems and Hypervisor Layers. Networking (Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, etc.) Experience of enterprise LAN and WAN, wireless, firewall technologies, next generation firewall technologies. Email platforms (i.e. MS Exchange/O365/Zimbra). Infrastructure-as-a-Service 'cloud' technologies; including provisioning, management and delivery mechanisms. Backup, Replication and Disaster Recovery technologies. Ability to understand customer requirements and to implement a range of solutions (utilizing the technologies above). Strong written and verbal communication skills. 'Can-do' Attitude. Commitment to Success. Problem solving and ability to work methodically and logically. To act as an ambassador for the company. At least 5-7 years working experience delivering technical design & implementation of solutions to customers. Iaas & PaaS technologies. VMware Cloud Foundation Hybrid cloud integration and adoption (Azure, AWS, etc). Security technologies. Networking Technologies. Hyper-Convergence. VDI / Thin client technologies. Systems Management technologies
