Job Context

Our client is a premier Multinational Freight Forwarding & Logistics Solutions provider. Express Search Talent Solutions (ESTS) is recruiting a dynamic leader to drive their strategic revenue growth in Bangladesh. This role requires a strong track record in air/ocean freight sales, key account acquisition, and market penetration.

 

REPORT TO: Sales & Business Development -Managing Director/ Country Head/ Regional Sales Director

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Business Development & Revenue Growth:

• Drive business growth for Air, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Contract Logistics, and Value-Added Services across Bangladesh.
• Identify high-value commercial opportunities, RFQ/RFP tenders, and major key accounts (RMG, Footwear, Consumer, Pharmaceuticals, and Industrial).
• Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.

Sales Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and performance-manage the sales team (Field Sales, Inside Sales, and Key Account Managers).
• Establish clear KPIs, targets, and incentive structures.
• Collaborate with global/regional branch networks.

Key Account Management & Relationship Building:

• Build and maintain top-tier C-suite relationships.
• Work with Customer Service and Operations for high client retention.

Market Intelligence & Compliance:

• Monitor trade lane trends, freight rates, and competitor activities.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with company standards.

Office Hours:

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Weekly Holidays:

• 1 Days

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding/International Logistics, with at least 3-5 years in a senior sales leadership role (Senior Manager/DGM/GM level).
• Network: Proven track record and established network with major Bangladeshi exporters/importers (particularly in RMG & Textile sectors).

 

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation skills, deep understanding of international trade lanes/incoterms, and
• Excellent command of spoken & written English

Job Location:

• Dhaka

Salary:

• BDT 200,000 (Negotiable Based on Experience)
